Zine #2 - Marketplace

Marketplace is a collection of photos taken at markets in a few different cities — Seoul, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Since I was usually there for work, most of the shots ended up being taken at night.

Markets are always interesting places to photograph. I love capturing the little moments between buyers and sellers, and just soaking in the atmosphere — the light, the movement, even the smell of food in the air.

Shooting at night also helps me stay a bit invisible. People are less aware of the camera, so everything feels more natural.

I used the reliable Nikon D700 with the Nikkor 28mm AIS. It lets me get close to the action and feel more connected to everything going on around me.
