Zine - Marketplace

Marketplace is a collection of photos taken at markets in several cities — Seoul, Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. Since I was usually visiting these cities for work, most of the photos were taken at night.

Markets are always interesting places to photograph. I enjoy capturing the small interactions between buyers and sellers, as well as the atmosphere — the light, the movement, and even the smell of food in the air.

My go-to lens for marketplace photography is the Nikkor 28mm AIS. It lets me get close to the scene and feel more connected to what is happening around me.
